An early cup of coffee, some news playing on the t.v. and others running around scrambling to get out of the house as soon as possible, to not be late. Work, school, etc. all require us to wake up at the crack of dawn. If humans were meant to pop out of bed, we’d sleep in toasters but unfortunately this is not the case. Americans today struggle getting out of bed. Sleep is our number one recovery for absolutely everything. If you ask me what I adore doing, I’d have to say sleeping and I’m sure many others would have to agree. Today, we lose so much sleep due to the stress and craziness we deal with in our lives.
We deal with kids in the morning, the washer breaking, something else breaking to go along with it, losing our keys, not being able to use the bathroom to get ready because the entire household shares one tiny bathroom the size of a closet. We all have those few ‘bad’ mornings every once in awhile, but when you start to lose more and more sleep, those bad mornings become daily. If our society simply allowed us to sleep in a little bit more, an hour, couple hours, or even few hours, I feel the world would be a much better and happier place to be.
The world should not start till at least 9A.M. I feel I find less and less ‘morning’ people each day. Mornings aren’t meant to be happy, they were created to be a madness of disappointments. No one should ever like mornings. Why? Because they were created to sleep and that it is. They were created to enjoy a small cup of coffee and watch the news till you were ready to leave for work. Mornings will always and continue to be a jumble of a events, stressed households and so fourth. There is no hope for a civilization which starts each day to the sound of an alarm clock. Obviously no one likes an obnoxious morning person while your still half asleep and dying to go back to bed. If only everyone was a morning person and waking up and getting out of bed was as easy as Americans makes it seem like.
