Hunting can have a different outlook to different people depending on their knowledge or personal experience. Hunting is not just a leisure sport which involves killing an animal. It means more than just killing an animal and isn’t nearly as easy as it sounds. It is a very time consuming and dedicating sport. Hunting also has a great impact on our ecosystem, it is a way for states to create and manage a wildlife system. There is a lot more to hunting than many people think.
This sport takes a lot of preparation, and dedication. You must have the proper equipment, such as reliable clothing (state law requires 2 articles of blaze orange), a gun, and an area to hunt. This is the one that many people overlook, you must have a reliable place to hunt whether its your own land or land that you have gotten permission from the owner to use. Another requirement is that you must have a hunting license and or proper permits depending on the species you are hunting. To obtain a hunting license you must complete a hunters safety, this is one way to insure safety while hunting.
Although there are a lot of responsibilities and regulations for hunting, it is a very rewarding and thrilling sport. Knowing that you are helping wildlife, and helping stop the spread of diseases within a herd, is a great feeling in itself. A way you can help your community with hunting would be to donate any meat to a local soup kitchen where your contribution is greatly appreciated. Hunting is a family tradition that should be passed on through many generations to keep the sport alive.

I totally agree with you about hunting. It’s not just about killing the animals like many many people think. There are even people that are totally against if for that factor. Another thing it does besides maintaining the wildlife in states, is provide you with relaxation. For the people that have been hunting they understand how relaxing it is to just sit behind a blind, or up in a tree stand. It truly is an awesome sport, even if it is time consuming!
This topic causes much controversy, but what drives me crazy is most people will bash the sport without, like you said, not really knowing anything about it. People feel that it is just killing a deer or any animal, and yes, hunters will always hope to kill one; but if it was really just about killing a animal (which is what most people think) they wouldn’t bring it home to feed their families, but just kill it, and leave it in the woods. I, also, agree that hunting manages wildlife, but how does it create it? Even though, I’m taking a hunter safety course and clearly have no problem with hunting, reading your article gave me an even better outlook on hunting.
This piece of writing is very well written and organized. You do a great job reviewing the aspects of hunting and I can tell that you are an advocate of it. This passion that you show through your words is great to experience. This topic was a great choice and this essay was fun to read.
I really like your topic. Really good piece. Well written and organized.
I agree with this, hunting is not to just kill animals. It was a way of living to get us to the point we are at today. When Indians killed animals they respected them by using every part of them and not wasting even the bones. Today the misunderstanding of the sport causes issues, because without the respect for the animals you shoot it is just to kill something which is what is wrong with the world. This is a very well written piece.
As a hunter, I completely agree with you. It’s not just about going out and killing. It take a lot of time and effort and I think it’s a blast. The trill and adrenalin is insane. I also love the idea of putting a meal on the table for my family.
I have not shotten an animal myself but I do go hunting, I know its more than just killing an animal. Its about getting meat for the family its about having fun and spending quality time with people that you really do not see much going on hunting trips and what not. Its about patients and respect for the animal that your hunting.
