You will need:
Already prepared pancake batter (Bisquick©)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
Vegetable oil/preferred frying oil
1 tbsp butter
3 tbsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
1 raw shallot
Blue cheese dressing
Let’s get started:
1.) Prepare boneless skinless chicken breast so that it is thawed and ready to be fried!
2.) Cut chicken breast into bite sized pieces (about 1/2 inch to 1/2 inch squares)
3.) Use a cooking mallet to flatten pieces. This insures the chicken will be thoroughly cooked, and the perfect size to eat
4.) Mix the pre-made pancake batter, 1 tsp paprika and 1 tsp cumin together to create fry batter
5.) Begin heating about 1/2 an inch of oil in a shallow fry pan
6.) Completely coat each piece of chicken in batter
7.) Once oil is heated (not smoking) place chicken in pan. BE CAREFUL!
8.) Using metal tongs check each piece of chicken until one side is lightly golden brown
9.) Flip!
10.) Once both sides are golden brown- turn off burner and remove chicken from oil onto a paper-towel covered plate
11.) Quickly reduce butter and hot sauce in a separate pan. Bring to boil
12.) Place fried chicken into reduction
13.) Saute so each piece is covered, and sprinkle in sesame seeds
14.) Remove chicken from heat. Top with sliced shallots, pair with blue-cheese dipping sauce and serve hot!
