Chocolate Chip Heaven

Have an event where you need to make a tasty dessert for tons of people? Or just feel like creating a tasty dessert? This is a chocolate chip cookie recipe you do not want to miss! It’s lenient ingredient portions allow you to adjust the recipe to achieve your desired cookie.

Ingredients:

2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 teaspoon of salt

1 cup(2 sticks) butter, softened

¾ cups granulated sugar

¾ cups packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

2-4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies

Procedure:

To begin you want to preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, that way it will be ready to cook when the cookies are formed. First, combine the dry ingredients, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and brown sugar in a medium-sized bowl (preferably stainless steel). Next, crack the eggs in a small bowl to avoid getting shells in the final batter. After that is complete, combine the liquid ingredients, vanilla and eggs in a separate stainless steel bowl. Take an electric whisk or a pastry cutter and incorporate the softened butter into the dry mix. After the butter is mostly combined, slowly incorporate the liquid mix into the butter/dry batter while mixing on low speed with the electric mixer. After all of those ingredients are thoroughly combined, take your choice from 2-4 cups of chocolate chips and gently fold them into the batter. Once this is complete, you will need a fairly large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper(will most likely need multiple pans). Either taking a cookie scoop or just a tablespoon, begin portioning out the cookies to your desired size and place them about two inches away from each other on the pans. Once all of the cookies are formed and put on the pan, place the sheets into the oven and set a timer for approximately twelve minutes. After this time has passed, gently open the oven and check if the cookies are a golden brown they are done. Take them out of the oven, using an oven mitt, and place them on a cooling rack for about five minutes. When this time is up you are ready to enjoy the delicious chocolate chip cookies!
