Technology of the Future: Solar Powered Plane

The modern world is in a race to find unlimited energy that will put the end to unnecessary fumes being put into the air. From when the Wright Brothers discovered flight, at that time everything was brought by train. To the modern day time, where everything is transported by plane. The world is run so much with traveling, at this point in time we need a way to travel without losing our planet with it. Solar power has been around as far as the 1800’s and is lead to be a newly discovered power source. The concept of solar power is as old as transportation, yet making it efficient to use in everyday tasks is new.

Through the art of science we have made solar powered cars, and trains. But there never fully running off solar powered energy, because it doesn’t have enough energy created by the solar cells to keep constant movement. But that technology today has created a one of a kind airplane that can only runs off solar power. Now it can’t continuously fly, and it takes a couple of days to fully charge but it has no gas in it. The Aerospace Sun Flyer is a newly created prototype so it isn’t commercially sold yet. The tests have gone well, making this a great invention for the years to come. With this technology climbing in popularity and gaining research the pop abilities are endless. The plane is designed to be lightweight and small to make the most out of the energy created by the solar panels. The solar cells are located on the wings of the plane collecting the most sunlight it can. For the future small aircraft the Aerospace Sun Flyer is a leap in the right direction.
