-Directions:
-Preheat: oven to 400℉
-Bake time: 25-30 minutes
-Lightly grease muffin tins
-Six large muffins, or twelve small muffins is what this recipe makes.
-Ingredients: butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla, milk, bag of fruit.
– Add together: 1 stick of butter in a large bowl, then add 1 cup of sugar, and 2 eggs. Beat those three ingredients very well, set that bowl aside.(Creamed mixture) In a separate bowl 2 cups flour, 2 tsp, baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt, sift those three ingredients together. Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) into the creamed mixture above. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, and half a cup of milk. Fold in 2 cups of mixed fruit.
– Now the muffins are in the oven baking. After the timer goes off and the muffins have raised with a golden brown color on the top take them out. Set them off to the side to cool for about 5 to 10 minutes. Once the muffins have cooled take a butter knife and go around the outer edge of the muffin tin to take them out. That is how you make Fruit Muffins, enjoy!
– This recipe has been a family tradition for many years, it first came from my grandmother who then gave it to my mom. Everyone in the family loves the Fruit Muffins. When there is a get together everyone in the family always ask my Mom to make the Fruit Muffins. My mom makes these muffins for my family on Christmas morning and for special occasions.

When I first read the title I thought these were going to be more like fruit cake but in a muffin form, but these actually sound a lot better than fruit cake!
