In this performance, Mayday Parade is performing their song “Hold Onto Me” from their performance at the Metro Theatre in Sydney on the 26th of February in 2014. This band is an amazing band and they have been around for about 10 years. They made great music then, and they make even better music today. With this song inparticular, “Hold Onto Me” is a very emotional song about a relationship, that was maybe not doing so good, and he was blaming it on himself. When he performs the song, his voice cracks a few times, but I think with this song and with how much emotion he puts into it, it makes it okay and more real. This is what music is suppose to be about, it’s suppose to be about putting your emotions into a song that you wrote. You can also tell how they put emotion into it with how they move their bodies on, and around the stage.
Mayday Parade is currently not on tour, but they will be in about 2 months. They unfortunately won’t be touring in the United States, they will be touring in Australia. When they do come to the United States, their tickets are around 84-104 dollars. It’s kind of on the pricey side, but in my opinion, if you are really into them (like I am, or possibly more), then spending that money would be worth it. If you are not really that into this kind of music, or really into this kind of band, then I wouldn’t waste your money. But if you do want to get into them because you are into this kind of music, then I would definitely recommend it would be worth it if you went.
