Rock and Roll

Rock and Roll began during the 1950’s in the United States where it was heavily influenced by rhythm and blues and country music. This genre is very different and most people who listen to it strictly stick to this genre. In order to enjoy Rock and Roll one must have an open mind about music and be ready for a whole different experience. If there is someone who wants to try out this genre I would recommend starting with artists or bands like Bon Jovi, ZZ Top, Boston and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

These artists and bands can be categorized under Rock and Roll but yet can also be put with other genres. Their songs vary in style so they would be great for a person who would like to try out a new style of music. For someone who already sort of listens to this genre but wants to go a little further I would suggest Whitesnake, Poison, Warrant and Guns n’ Roses. These artists and bands can still be looked at under other genres but most of the songs they have are Rock and Roll. These are great for someone who already has a little taste of Rock and Roll but wants to go a little deeper into the genre.

If a person kind of likes Rock and Roll and has listen to more moderate bands and wants to go even further I would suggest Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss, AC/DC and Pink Floyd. These bands and artists can only be put under this genre. All of their songs are Rock and Roll and not a single song could be put into a different genre. These are great for someone who already has a taste for Rock and Roll and wants to listen to a lot of it.
