Step 2: Make your design with glue! I decided to write my name on the canvas, but you can make any design you like! Just make sure the amount of glue isn't too think but you still have enough so it will peel off easily when dry!

Step 3: Let the glue dry. I chose to blow dry the glue, but if you want you can let it set overnight. Either way you should make sure the glue is pretty dry before going on to the next steps.

Step 5: Melt your crayons! Take the blow dryer and put it close to the crayon. Hover the crayon just above the canvas so when it melts the splatter will land on the canvas. WARNING, this does make a mess so I would cover anything up that you don't want to get crayon on!

Step 6: Peel off the glue! Once the glue is dry you can peel it off and reveal your masterpiece! Total Estimated Time: 30 minutes. Total Estimated Cost: $10

That is so pretty, I love the colors. It this a cotton canvas, because there are all kinds of different style canvas. Also, did the glue come off easily, or did you have to scrape some off because the crayon melted over it?

I tried this once and got crayon everywhere even on the wall and its till there to this day.. oops. I never thought of putting a design in it though which is very cool and makes me want to attempt again. Really good post!

This is so creative! So is the glue easy to peel off or does this post make it easier said than done? I’ll definitely have to try this – good dorm decor!

This is really interesting. Does it have to be a canvas or can I use some form of paper?

Awesome design and the colors you used go great together. Have you ever tried drawing in a design then using very vibrant colors to paint the design then put glue over it to give the design your own little twist of creativity.

This project is so cool looking and it seems pretty easy! The only problems that I could think of would be the crazy length of time it would take for the crayons to melt under a hair drier. Once they do melt and splatter everywhere, it makes for a potential disastrous mess. I’m clumsy, so I would probably have to set up a tarp to prevent crayon from getting everywhere!
