In two large bowls, combine a pre-made bag of cookie dough mix. In this bowl, you should include a stick of butter and an egg. After combining all these ingredients, you should mix together until the dough becomes firm and exactly looks like this. Do these steps for both large bowls filled with cookie dough. After the cookie dough is mixed, roll out the white colored dough until it is a quarter of an inch thick. With the other white dough, take the blue food coloring and put in as many drops as you would like. I used 7 drops to get the color I have. Then roll this dough out so it is also a quarter of an inch thick. Take the blue dough and lay it down on a cookie sheet. Using the white dough, place it on top of the blue and begin rolling as tight as possible. You should end with a log that looks like mine above. With the log, take a knife and cut off the edges that are not completely straight. This will help in the cutting of the cookie process later on. These scraps should be put aside. Do not throw the scraps away!! These can be used to make a couple ¨marble¨ cookies. After taking the scraps off, dump a bottle or colored sprinkles either on the counter like I did or dump them in a flat bowl that you can roll the dough in.Your log should look like this after it is rolled in the sprinkles. Put this log in the fridge for about an hour for it to chill. After the log is refrigerated, take it out and cut it up so the cookies are about .5 inches in width. Get the oven ready to bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.Ta da! After baking your cookies should look like this. They were extremely delicious….my softball team enjoyed them very much! I highly recommend this delicious recipe if you want a twist on your sugar cookie recipes!
This looks like a very fun treat to make with a family! What kind of colored sprinkles did you use? They look round, so could the longer shaped sprinkles be used?
Amber: I have no clue, I even checked the website but could not find that information! Sorry 🙁
Kayla: Of course! Just try not to make it to thick or else the cookies will not cook all the way through.
Iris: This is definitely a quick process! Young children would love this.
Hannah: I did use the round ones, but you could use any sprinkles you would like!
These look so good! Were they hard to make? Do you think that these would work with maybe another type of cookie? Like Gingerbread or Molasses? Maybe it would just need a few different ingredients but it would be cool if they outcome would be the same!

Can you add more layers to make it more colorful and fun?
This is awesome! Would you say this is a quick process and is easy for younger children to do, or is more for like teenagers and adults?

Wow! I am really hungry after reading this! I am tempted to make some right now! How hard were they to make?
Mmm, these look amazing! I would love to try this recipe. Is it possible to put more than one color on a layer to make it almost tie-dyed?!
Wow! These look fancy and scrumptious! I like my cookies a little softer than average. How long would you recommend baking them?
How much sugar would you say is in cookie?
