Chest Training

Training of the chest is very important to have that beach body that everyone wants. A big chest gives people a sense of pride and really helps people boost there confidence. The chest is one of the bigger muscles in the body and one of the most important muscle groups to train. A good chest can help with pushing things and moving things. Everyday in life people push things and with a developed chest you can push things easier and with less effort.

Rep ranges vary from 3 sets of 12 to maybe 3 sets of 10. There are different types of programs in which people can do to build there chest. A key to building a bigger chest includes proper form in every exercise. Improper form can cause injury or it will take work away from the chest during the exercise. A good way to build a big chest is to something called “negative reps”. Negative reps is just taking light weight and slowly lifting and slowly lowering the weight. This is very good for keeping muscles fibers working through out the whole exercise. During these exercises the person doing them should have somebody there spotting them in case of muscle failure. Make sure not to over train the chest because that can cause injury.

Exercises include: Bench Press, Incline Bench Press, Decline Bench Press, Dumbbell Punches, Incline Dumbbell Punches, Decline Dumbbell Punches, Decline fly’s, Incline Flys, TRX Push Up, Incline Push Up,  and the Basic Push-Up.

Thanks everyone for reading! CMerrill15, chest hair is essential because it bring the defined chest that you will get out of the exercises. By the way my favorite exercise would have to be bench press.

Great post! I wonder though, what will happen if I do more than 3 sets of 12? What would happen if I just kept doing it until my body physically could not take it anymore? Would I still be gaining muscle or would it result in injury?
