The ultimate Show down

Kinect vs. PlayStation Move vs. Wii fit The ultimate motion sensor showdown!

Which is Better Kinect, Wii Fit or PlaySation move?  To start off you should probably know what all of this Motion Sensor Gaming devices or Add-on.The Xbox Kinect the Kinect is basically an add on for the Xbox 360 or Xbox one that is technically a single color camera for image recognition, and two monochrome cameras placed a few inches apart to determine where you are in a three-dimensional space so basically its Camera with motion sensor technology that follows you and picks up your movements and sends them to the motherboard which is the Xbox 360 or Xbox one. Positives about  the Kinect is that it does not  require extra controllers for extra players and plus its  voice recognition is the smoothest and is very cool. Negatives there is way more lag with the Kinect and you need way more room for the connect.

Next is the PlayStation Move now this one is not as popular as the rest due to the fact the PlayStation users are lazy(Just Joking) but seriously its not as popular do the bugs it has and that not many PlayStation users know it exist. PlayStation move combines a video camera with a physical controller packed with motion-sensing electronics, making it the technological cross between Kinect and the Nintendo Wii.The worst part is the stick thing or “wand” if you call it that it. Unlike the kinect and Wii this one has the worse configuration meaning that the mechanics are not as good as the Kinect or the Wii.

Imagine you’re one of the biggest video game console manufacturers in the world and you have to compete with Xbox and PlayStation  and they have two of the best video game consoles out on the market the PS3 and Xbox 360 and you have to come out with the super console that will top off and completely blow away PlayStation and Xbox. Nintendo Wii is a motion sensor controlled system just like the Kinect and the Move but instead of it being an add on the whole system is motion sensor controlled.

When it comes down to popularity the Kinect takes the cake because the Kinect brought in more revenue the Wii. Reason being the Kinect made more money than the Wii was do to the popularity or the Xbox 360 and the Xbox one so many people pick Microsoft over Sony and Nintendo every day because Microsoft offers way more than the other two companies, Even though you have to pay to play online for Microsoft it still offers way more and is more popular.

Did this view of Microsoft over Playstation change with the new generation of consoles(XBone, PS4)? Also something that you could have added to this post would be the option to vote for PC gaming as that is another big contender in this fight.

Is motion control even necessary? How often do games fully utilize this feature? You also can mention Leap Motion, which is a motion sensor for PCs for gaming and productivity: https://www.leapmotion.com/

Is this post talking about a very easy and less complex way of introducing people into VR, or virtual reality? If so, more you could add is about online gaming and maybe even add in pieces of what Playstation and Xbox have for motion sensors? The consoles indeed, have cameras to be able to watch your movement but did you know about Playstations’ Dual Shock 4 controllers or their PS Move Wand or even the glasses called Project Morpheus that will give you a full 90 degree angle of your vision of both sides? This can also help the gamer along with their gaming!
