The book “hush, hush” written by Becca Fitzpatrick, is a fantastic book that has a very captivating story and characters. It all starts with Nora Grey, a girl that is intellegent, responsible and is never reckless … until she meets Patch. When Nora’s class is told to switch seats for the rest of the year, Nora and her best friend, Vee Sky, have to seperate for her new partner that has now captured her attension, Patch. He had been the new transfer student for a while and he seemed to have a very mysterious presence about him and Nora feels that she should stay away from him. Yet something about this dangerous side, that she feels he has, draws her to him, so she is determined to reveal his secrets and find out what had happened in his past that he refuses to let her in on.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of a bit of everything when it comes to fiction, mystery, romance, fantasy, and suspenseful moments that will leave you breathless. Some of my personal favorite parts are, in general, when Nora is investigating something that could get her in trouble, and as the reader, hoping that she wont get caught or worse. Parts like those make me excited but worried for them; it feels like I get a shot of adrenaline which makes me happy because I get just as excited with this book as I do with action movies (which is a lot). Books like this that make me feel for the characters and , personally, I think the books that give you those feelings are the best kind of books. I especially love the way that whenever the chapters ended, it left me hanging and I needed to know what happened next or I would be wondering about it all day. Overall, I give this book 5 starts out of 5 and I hope anyone who is looking for a good read will read this book.
