Top 5 Underrated Superheroes

There is a plethora of superheroes deemed stupid or just aren’t worth someone’s time by the mass collective of people. But looks can be deceiving and some of the “worst” heroes ever are actually some of the best. So lets dive into this top 5 underrated superheroes.

Number 5 is the red tornado. The red tornado first appeared in comics in august 1968 in Justice League of America issue #64. But he is no ordinary hero he is actually an android with a virtually indestructible body. The red tornado has the power of flight and to control winds to blast at his enemies. These might seem like stupid powers but he was able to go head to head with the entire justice league when he was first introduced as a villain.

Number 4 is Moon Knight. You would think Tony stark’s Iron man was Marvel’s Answer to DC’s Batman but you would be wrong.  This was Actually moon Knight.  Moon Knight First Appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 in august of 1975. Moon Knight uses Gadgets just like Batman. But what separates Batman  and Moon Knight is the fact that Moon Knight is a Ex marine  and is not Afraid to kill.

Number 3 Aquaman. Yes, Aquaman the most underrated superhero ever. He is not number one on this list because lets be honest everyone puts Aquaman as their number one. Also he is a member of the justice league so he really doesn’t need to be on this list. Aquaman was first introduced in More Fun comics issue #73 in November 1941. As some of you might know Aquaman has control over the seven seas and can communicate with marine life. But what you most likely did not know was that due to the enormous amount of pressure in the ocean he has superhuman strength and increased bone density. And he once almost killed Superman.

Number 2 is Martian Manhunter.  Martian Manhunter is Like superman but with a better array of powers. He first appeared in Detective Comics #225 in November of 1955. Like super man and the name implies Martian Manhunter if from another world specifically mars. Also Like superman he has superhuman strength and the ability to fly. But he also has telepathy, telekinesis, and the ability to phase through solid matter. And like Aquaman, Martian Manhunter has almost killed Superman.

Number 1 is Agent Venom. Agent Venom was first introduced in the Amazing Spider Man #654 in February of 2011. I actually did not learn about agent Venom until earlier this year and has an amazing back story. Thats what puts his so high on my list. But Agent Venom used to be a villain or at least the suit was….. It’s complicated if you want to read more into it just look up agent venom online. But the suit soon fell into the hands of a disabled army vet named flash Thompson….Who used to bully Peter Parker or Spider Man whichever you prefer in high school. But the suit was known to make its wearer evil. But somehow Flash managed to overcome this and become a hero. If I had more time I would go into the full origin of Agent Venom but that’s a wee bit too complicated for this top 5 list.
