Duke vs Boston College

The Blue Devils fell behind early in the start against Boston College before scoring 20 of the following 25 points. The Eagles of Boston college led 12-6 after the first 7 minutes of the game. Derryck Thornton then made a jumper on an assist from Allen and Jones followed with a 3 pointer to make it a one point game. Following that play sophomore Grayson Allen came up with the steal and took in all the way for a dunk giving Duke their first lead of the game. The Blue Devils followed up scoring eight consecutive free throws and the last five points of the first half. Making it a 37-24 lead. Then in the second half, Boston College scored 10 straight points to cut a 21- point deficit to 57-46. After that, Duke followed up with a timeout leading to a free throw and steal for the three point play by Allen. The final score ended up being 81-64

Player of the Game: Freshmen Brandon Ingram was the player of the game. He was the leading scorer for the Blue Devils, and one point off his career high. He finished with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. Ingram has topped the 20 point mark in five of the past seven games.

Honorable Mentions: Sophomore Grayson Allen had 17 points, 9 rebounds, and five assists for Duke. Luke Kennard added 17 points for the Blue Devils. Matt Jones had 16 points to help Duke beat the Eagles of Boston College for the 10th consecutive time.

Next up for the Blue Devils is a game away Wake Forest on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
