Not that difficult to Make: Death by Oreo Cupcakes
One Will Need:
1 package of double stuffed Oreo cookies
1 package chocolate cake mix or homemade chocolate cake mix
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), room temperature
3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Handful of chocolate chips
12 cupcake liners
1 cupcake tray
How to Make Death by Oreo Cupcakes:
First, one needs to preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 176 degrees Celsius. Next, line cupcake trays with the liners and place a double stuffed Oreo (or variety you chose) on the bottom of each cupcake dish. Then, mix packaged cake mix according to directions on box or the homemade recipe, but do not bake. Next, take the remaining half of the Oreo cookies and crush them to put in the batter and save some for the frosting. After placing the crushed ores in the batter, fill the cupcake tins with it. Next, place the cupcake tray in the preheated oven and cook for the respected time for the batter. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl start creating the frosting. Mix together the 1 stick of butter and 8 ounces of cream cheese. Next add the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and then add 3 ¾ cups of powdered sugar slowly until blended completely. Then add the remaining crushed Oreos into the frosting and let the frosting sit. Once the cupcakes are out of the oven and cooled spread the frosting on the cupcakes. Finally, garnish the top of the cupcake with chocolate chips and enjoy the cupcakes!

If one knows how to follow instruction and bake a cake, they can make these. The great thing about these death by Oreo cupcakes are that one could use any type of Oreo ranging from double stuffed to any variety of Oreo one wants to add in. What is perfect about the varieties of ores is one could replace the double stuffed Oreo with mint Oreos and in add mint extract to the frosting for a St. Patrick’s day party.
