Battlefield 3 is a first person RPG game that was developed by EA DICE and has huge maps and many load outs. It set the standards for the resolution quality of the battlefield franchise and led to the continuing improvements of graphics. There is over 1000 different ways to customize your loadout. There are 4 different classes to choose from, each with different types of weapons on them. Each one has a special ability. Battlefield 3 has many different game modes including team deathmatch and capture the flag. The graphics are decent online and on campaign. The maps take place in anywhere from Iran to New York.
The game sold over 5 million copies within the first week it was released and received critical acclaim from most game reviewers. By the day of the release, Battlefield got three million pre-orders. It easily became the fastest selling game. Two days after release it shipped out ten million units out. It also received eight awards, Best Shooter, Best Multiplayer game, Best Xbox 360 Shooter, Best Xbox 360 Multiplayer game, Best PS3 Shooter, Best PS3 Multiplayer game, Best PC shooter, and Best PC Multiplayer game. In Japan alone battlefield sold a total of 150,265 copies in less than a month.
One key feature is the squad option. Say you want to play with your friends against other people. The squad option lets you do that. You and friends can play online in one squadron against other players. You can spawn in on your friends and get bonuses for helping them out. You also can use a mic and only talk to your friends and no one else can hear it. This helps you strategize without the other team or other people finding out. It is a very helpful tool. There are also many different vehicles that you and your squad can ride in together. You can also customize everything online on the EA website. Some vehicles can fit one person and some can fit up to six people. The vehicle variety ranges from a four wheeler or dirt bike to a jet or helicopter and everything in between. You can also customize some of the vehicles to your liking. To make it better for you. In all reality this game is a very realistic version of what war is. I give this game a 8/10 for the overall grade and a 10/10 for customization abilities.
