Gears of War Ultimate Edition, is a 3rd person shooter game for the XBox One Created by The Coalition a game design company formerly known as Black Tusk studios. Gears of War the only game of its Franchises made for the XBox One. It’s predecessors were all made for the XBox 360. They are named Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War Judgment. Gears of War Ultimate Edition is by far the best Gears of War ever made. Gears of War Ultimate Edition otherwise known as Gears UE is a remake of the original Gears of war for the XBox 360, but it has had aspects of all four games added into it. Gears UE is the most balanced of all the Gears of War games. The bullet registration hit-boxes are now sized to the characters correctly, they detect bullets more often and accurately than the other games. Gears of War UE is now centered more toward online play as opposed to the previous Gears that are focused more on campaign or story mode.
Gears of War UE is the only Gears of Wars on the competitive Major League Gaming (MLG) circuit which means people get paid to play the game at competitions. An Average salary for a professional gamer is $50,000 to $125,000 a year. But if you have a large following on places like YouTube or any live streaming website and people purchase your team merchandise that salary can grow to any wear from $500,000 to $2.5 million a year. It is relatively difficult to make it to the pro circuit and to gain the support of so many people so if you are looking to go professional on any game you will have to work extremely hard. The most subscribed Gears of War only Youtube channel has 110,109 subscribers, but there are many other YouTubers who play Gears of War alongside their plethora of other games who have well over 1 million subscribers. Even the most subscribed YouTube channel in the world that is topping the charts with over 43 million subscribers has some Gears of War related content on it.
Although the Gears of Wars series has had much criticism since it start in 2006, it is still among the top 3rd person shooters ever created. In my opinion it is the apex of all 3rd person shooters and its generation. What game do you think is the apex of its generation?
