Chocolate Chip and Cream Cookies

Ingredients:

1 box of vanilla cake mix

1 package of Oreos

8 tablespoons of butter melted (salted or unsalted)

1 egg

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

4 ounces of cream cheese (softened)

2 cups of oreos crushed

½ of white chocolate chip morsels

½ cup of milk chocolate chip morsels

(wax paper, large bowl, and cookie sheet)

How to Make:

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Next, combine the cake mix, butter, egg and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix in the bowl until a soft dough is formed. Then, add the cream cheese and then mix again. Next, one wants to stir in the cookie chunks and white and milk chocolate chips in by hand. After mixing, refrigerate the dough for a minimum of 30 minutes. After refrigeration, roll dough into as many balls as possible, usually forms around 36. Next, place on a baking sheet and place in already heated oven for about 9 minutes. Although the cookies may seem undercooked, do not overbake because they need to be somewhat “undercooked”. After baking, take them out and let them cool on a baking for about 2-3 minutes. While those are cooling, take wax paper and put it on the counters. After the cookies are done trying to cool, place on the wax paper. When on the wax paper, let them cool completely and then place on plate ready to serve! Enjoy!

Why Should One Make This?

Someone should make these because not only are they are a family favorite of mine, but the best thing is having the warm gooey chocolate over your face! Trust me, these will make you forget about the negative in your life while they are in your mouth. Of course any type of cookies are a favorite of ours but these are made the most frequent. The way the cookie, oreo and chocolate chips taste in your mouth on that first bite is just very great and highly anticipated. Also, I think that cookies made from box cake mixes are the best kinds of cookies. They are starting to come around more often and if you haven’t tried them, then do it. Just the biggest flaw people have with making these are they will overbake the cookies! Trust me they are the best warm and gooey and you can get the melted chocolate all over your face. I hope that if you read this you try and to make these because I promise you will not regret your decision!
