Taylor swift is an amazing artist. In Taylor’s earlier years she was a very successful young lady producing and singing country. Now and for the past few years she has become a very successful pop artist. She is not one of my favorite artist but she does inspire me. Taylor started to struggled to produce country songs so she started to produce hip hop. She inspires me because rather than giving up on her music career she made changes to better her career and please her fans. It helped that most of Taylor’s songs already had a hip hop beat so it was an easy and smart switch. I personally think Taylor is a better country singer than a hip hop singer because her country songs had more meaning compared to what her hip hop songs mean now. Although a lot of other people think Taylor is great at singing both country and hip hop. People also think she was smart for switching to hip hop.
Taylor Swift was born on December 13th in the year of 1989 in Pennsylvania. Taylor’s mother and father are Andrea and Scott Swift. They moved to Wyomissing where Taylor started creating songs at the age of 5. At the age of 10 she began singing at a variety of local events and competed in contests. She began writing songs and learning how to play guitar at the age of 12. She released her first album at the age of 16. Taylor also released her first single called “Tim McGraw” which became a top 10 hit on the country charts and more than 2.5 million copies were sold. Taylor released her second album called Fearless in 2008 and it hit the top of both the country and pop charts for 11 weeks. She became the youngest artist to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for Fearless. By the end of the year she became the highest selling country artist.
Taylor became a huge hit with her concert tickets selling out in less than two minutes. She became the first woman in history to release three albums that sold more than one million copies in their opening week. Taylor has many accomplishments and has worked hard for all of them. She has inspired me to have dedication and determination to accomplish my goals.
