Craft Fair? There’s Love There.

My grandmother introduced me to craft fairs that happen on a daily in the community. I loved going to them when we would go because there were so many different kinds of crafts there. We were a really big hit when we joined and we would make hundreds every day. I would see people who make their own jewelry out of the strangest things. I once saw one that made jewelry out of silverware which was one of the coolest things. My grandmother bought me a ring made from a spoon, which I still have today, and she bought herself a bracelet. There were different kinds of sewing at the craft shows including embroidery, hand sewing, crochet, and knitting. There were even homemade food trucks there. Everyone would come just to see all the crafts that were displayed and I could tell that everyone was having a blast. I loved hanging out with my grandmother because we had so much fun. My tie blankets that I made were a big hit in the community and they were fun to make. I loved that people enjoyed my work and that all my blankets would sell in one day. I can’t wait to participate in another craft fair in my future. My grandmother still sews today and I hope she keeps it up so I may join her whenever I please.
