Buffalo Wild Wings

Have you ever forgotten your money at home? But only realized it after you had already eaten? This is what happened to my friend an I at a restaurant once. My friend an I were wondering about what we were going to do after I got out of work. We both decided that she would pick me up from work and go to Starbucks to work on schoolwork. We thought this was a good plan because we work better when we’re together. So when my work was closing, I had her come in and wait for me because she was already outside in her car waiting. When I was done, we left and heading to my house to get ready to go to Starbucks. I informed her that my card was currently not working and that I wouldn’t be buying anything at Starbucks. This was fine because we were just going to go work on homework, so we wouldn’t really need anything to eat.

When we got into town, we saw Buffalo Wild Wings. That was is. We were struck, we had to go eat there before Starbucks. I was like okay, I don’t have money, but it’ll be small and quick. We get into bdubs (Buffalo Wild Wings) and we eat our food and all. My friend has a coupon on her phone for a free small meal for me, so she used that. When she was looking for her debit card to pay for the rest of the meal, she couldn’t find it. She starting to quickly look for it and I tried to calm her down by giving her reasonable explanations for it. I suggested that I looked also, and that we look in another bag that she had and maybe even the car. She was certain that she did not have it. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t have any money on me or I would’ve paid. I started to rationalize things and think of things we could do.

After a little bit of confusion and worrying, I realized that bdubs has an app that you can redeem food on (What she used for the free meal). I then thought maybe she could pay with her phone online instead of an actual debit card. She checked on the website but we were still out of luck. We both tried to get the waiter to help us, and he helped a lot. He showed us how to pay for it online and we were all good!! I am glad that I could think of the bdubs app because we were both flustered about what was going to happen. We then boxed our food and left for Starbucks.

When we got to Starbucks, we found a good table with a plug in for our laptops, and started working on homework. My friend then helped me out. I was super confused on my math homework and because she had already taken that class, she remembered what to do. She explained it to me and gave me an example to help me understand more.

I appreciate that because it ended up helping me finish my project for that class. We both helped each other that day and if we wouldn’t have helped, then the day would’ve turned out way different. Friends are there for a reason. To spend time with, make memories, and help when needed.
