You might ask, what is graphic design? Graphic design is also known as communication design. This is the art and practice of planning and projecting ideas and experiences with visual and textual content. These projects can come in many different ways and forms by using different tools and techniques. Personally what I find interesting is car wraps. When wrapping a car you use a large piece of vinyl graphic or decal. They then apply it over the vehicle’s original paint. Applying the vinyl wrap to the vehicle allows you to change the appearance for a short period of time and in turn allows you to remove the wrap back to its original conditions if needed.
Growing up I have always had a strong love and passion for being creative. While being raised and watching my mom and her photography grow and going on sessions with her, I began to fall in love with the art myself. I have always really loved photography and thought that I would end up doing something in that field myself. Not that I haven’t lost my interest in that field but going on college tours and spending endless nights watching videos on graphic design and car wraps made me realize, this is what I want to do with my future. By doing this I get to pour my emotions into any and all of my artwork, that’s what gives the art itself meaning and story. I have a strong love for photography, drawing, being creative different. Also growing up I’ve always had a love for cars, snowmobiles, four-wheelers, dirtbikes, etc. Now finding my love for the amazing field of graphic design vehicle wraps I will be able to draw out a sketch, design the visual online using different tools and software then applying it to the actual vehicle and advertising my art whenever the customer goes for a ride. I am planning on starting a successful path in the graphic design field by going cmcc this fall. By doing so I would also have to major in marketing and business. So classes I will have to take to a be successful graphic designer is desktop publishing, graphics for web, digital photography and multimedia animation.

It is great that you have planned out your future and know what you want to do for your career. It is cool to that you will be getting major in marketing and business. Also it amazing that going to mothers photography session helped inspired you to talk Graphic Design has your career. Knowing what my mom was medic in the army led to towards the medical field for a career.
I can relate to what your saying here. I was always to kid who would rearrange my room and make a sketch of what I would want it to look like and I never thought that it would be a career path for me until I looked into it further.
