A time that I got a spark in learning something was when I was a little kid. My dad was out in the garage and I went outside to see what he was doing and he was working on the four-wheeler. I had no idea what I was doing at the time so I just sat and watched and he talked me through every step he made. He told me to pay attention so someday I would know how and what to do in a situation like this. So ever since that day whenever he would work on something mechanical whether it be the snowblower, the car the lawn mower I would go watch him, help him and learn. As I grew older I fell in love with this thing called youtube where I could watch all kinds of videos and learn whatever I wanted to. As I learned new things I wanted to try things on my own. It would consist of working on something broken by myself to taking perfectly ok things apart to try to put them back together. I learned that having this skill can be very useful in life, it can save you tons of money not having to pay for labor hours and the time it takes that you don’t have that piece of equipment. Ever since I’ve caught this interest I just loved working on things whether it’s at home with my friend´s etc. Yes, I don’t want to do this for a career for the rest of my life but I will always have a passion for fixing and working on things. Yeats quote”Education is not the filling of a pail, but rather the lighting of a fire” means to me that filling a pail with water eventually it ends, the pail will be full, but lighting a fire it can always grow. This relating to education means to me that you can always learn new ways, things etc. There no finish to a fire and it will never go out if you keep putting wood on it referring to continued learning. This can help me in the future not only knowing how to fix certain thing´s but being able to identify what the problem is. So if you do bring it to a mechanic just because you don’t have the tools to do the job if you already know what’s wrong beforehand you can tell the mechanic and they can get right to it instead of having to waste time figuring out what the problem is. This can save an hour or two worth of labor charges. And if you know what’s broken you can bye the part then gives it to the dealer saving you even more money as the dealer overcharges more parts. So all in all my spark of learning was created when I first learned mechanics. Seeing how much I liked doing it and how much money it can actually save you in the future even just doing an oil change by yourself. The importance of education in your life is that the more things you learn in life the wider your variety of things you are able to do is larger, creating a better possible life.

I sort of lost it when I read the line “I fell in love with this thing called YouTube.” But yes, it is true you do watch you tube videos all the time. But these are not just random old stupid videos, with an exception of a few…. But you watch videos on all sort of of things trying to learn as much as possible. I definitely admire that about you and your desire to learn things for your own good.
