Light in the Dark

The flag I chose to design represents many things – everything I am, and all the things I am not ashamed to admit. In the past, I struggled with making friendships that would last. Maybe I was friends with the wrong people or maybe it was just me. Friendship is an essential part of life – so is building healthy relationships. Now that I’ve found my constant, the light in the dark, the glowing light which is actually a light coming from a firefly, represents the constant love coming from one person who has been there all along. There’s one circle, representing one good friend for life. The color of the light is yellow and white. The yellow represents a sunflower, which is my favorite flower. Sunflowers, to me, represent growth, and that is what I am constantly doing. Growing as an individual, growing with the world. The dark blue and purple background represents my favorite colors and blank space to explore. It holds mystery, also something I love.
