In the world today there is a huge conflict whether or not people should be using social media. I believe that social media was a good idea when it first came out, but nowadays it is getting way too out of hand. In the past few years there has been so much conflict on social media that never would’ve happened if there was no such thing. Such as the democratic party vs. the republican party. If there was no social media no large conflict between millions of people would be happening right now. Social media is also the main sourse of cyber bullying aswell.

There are some good things that come from social media but a lot of things from social media are bad. One of the upsides of social media is that it is a great way for businesses to advertise their products. Tik Tok is a new app that a lot of people have started to use in the past 2 years. This is a major app for people to try to show their talents and grow their business. Eventhough there are good things coming from Tik Tok there are more bad things. Probably the worst thing happening on Tik Tok right now is a bunch of girls are dancing innappropriatly and little girls are seeing this and replicating it and posting it on their own page. This is extremely bad because it enables a lot of older people to see there girls and possibly comment on their posts. If we had no social media there would be alteratives to communication and advertisment. Instead of snapchatting someone when you need them you could just call or text them. There are also so many other places for advertisement other than social media, such as television and radio stations.

Eventhough there are good uses for social media, all the bad things that social media has brought to this world outweigh the good things. Overall the world would be a more peaceful and simple world without social media.
