Football Family, Introduction to Lwillams22

User Lwillams22 used the avatar creation to show their love for a sport and their family. Using these different symbols they were able to put together an avatar with a deeper meaning. The six red x’s show the connection that Lwillams22 has with their family and team, the bands the x’s are in show the bonds they have made through the years of playing sports. The lines in the middle of the avatar are football laces to show the love that Lwillams22 has for the sport. Lwillams22’s avatar shows that sports and family are very important.

Lwillams22’s avatar grabbed my attention because of the uniqueness that it has. The football laces really grabbed my attention because they were in the middle so just at a first glance they showed that Lwillams22 wanted them to be the first thing anyone saw. Also the x’s when I first looked at the avatar I had no idea what they would have meant but after talking with Lwillams the deeper meaning really surprised me. The red x’s also grabbed my attention because of the color it was the next thing I saw after the laces. I personally liked how simple Lwillams avatar was it really showed you who he is just but looking at it.

Lwillams had a very long process from what he was saying. He had tried many different styles and he chose this one because of what it meant to him, he said “I chose this design because football has always been important to me in my life” in fact he was also saying that he has been playing for a long time. When talking about Lwillams avatar with him he was talking about the connections he has made throughout playing football he said “I love the family and connections football has made throughout the years” the sport really formed this avatar the same way it has formed Lwillams life.  As Lwillams and I talked about his avatar. He continued to talk about how his avatar relates to him as a person he said “ I really chose this draft out of the others because it shows who I am” this is a common understanding because I thought the something after interviewing with him.  

Lwillams and I had similar processes when making our avatars, we both really tried to make them relate to us and what matters deeply to us. Lwillams and I both used something we love: him football and I hiking  to show how it has made us who we are today as people. There are also many differences in our processes like Lwillams plays football and I on the other hand had to try and find other ways to show who I am.  I feel like the avatar creation was the hardest part because it can be hard to create who you are just by drawing symbols. In the end Lwillams and I both created avatars that show who we are.
