Laughter is the best medicine
My grandmother was the happiest person I knew. She could make the most unfortunate things seem happy, all through the power of laughter. I remembered when she was sick and dying in the hospital. We would visit her every chance we could just to see her as much as possible before it was too late. As soon as we got there I swear she would have a joke every time. She must have stayed up all night thinking of jokes just to make us laugh.
She loved to bring joy to people and was good at it. When she was in the hospital we would completely forget she was sick because she was so happy. We would leave the hospital every day with sore jaws from laughing, tears of joy in our eyes and I swear I had a six pack from the amount of times she made us laugh. Forget the gym, on core day go hang out with my grandmother.
She was the funniest person in the world in our eyes. It’s a shame she died so young but she will always be remembered in our heart as a warm, happy, hilarious woman. She was clever, smart, quick witted and most of all, funny.
