AMackenzie is a loving and caring friend when it comes to her brothers or her best friend she met at a daycare when she was younger.  She traveled to New York with her friend she met at daycare when she was younger and even brought her to Ogunquit where she has gone every year growing up.  Like mentioned before her and her brothers are close and they also went to the daycare she went to.

When she was creating her avatar she thought of a bunch of different things in different categories.   She put together the top three items that were the most meaningful to her.  She put together many different categories and elements to create her avatar.  To demonstrate she put down “Three Roses” to represent her and her brothers and how they connected to the daycare they went to which was owned by a lady with the name Rose.  She did stick right away with this design as it was the first design she had created and she liked enough to stick with it.  Clearly seen in the avatar there are no colors yet used and this is mostly because she wasn’t fully done creating her avatar and that this was more so her first draft but I feel as if her avatar not colored helps also give it another aspect about it that other avatars don’t have.

In the top right of the avatar there is a moon with a smiling face looking down at everything.  This moon actually has more meaning then one would think.  The moon represents the old moon design that is almost like on Halloween invitations cards or Halloween related things.  She said “My aunt every Halloween would have a Halloween party and they would trick or treat around that area as well.”  I think this describes the moon well because it’s just the image that comes into her head when she thinks about this Halloween party she would always go to instead of a typical Halloween party or something along those lines.

I would like to start off before saying how I feel she connected her symbols into a avatar that her avatar all around does look very good and I feel as if she had finished it the colors and everything would have brought it together even more. I would say that her background and back story for her symbols were very good. Were she got everything from like roses was very creative to how she connected them with her and her brothers and daycare. I would also say that the water even though it just have as strong as a back story it fits in very well and gives a different look on everything. Finally to finish it up the Halloween smiling moon definitely adds a twist to the avatar. Even though it’s a little different she still had a good background about it and how it connected to her life. I would like to say that maybe adding just a group of people or something like that to resemble family would have been a good touch to her avatar. I believe this because every symbol she has relates to something with her friends or family.
