Does Owning Yourself Mean Owning your Morals Also?

What is owning something? Owning something in my eyes is to keep something in your possession that matters to the extent you use, take care of, and take responsibility and accountability for it. Owning something like a shovel you use and taking care of is usually kept indoors after use. This shovel serves a purpose and you need it, but something like an idea or a song can also belong to you. If you come up with the idea of a shovel for snow that's your idea or a song you make is your song but it's not tangible it belongs to you and you own it. but if something happens with something you own you should also be accountable for it if your music is offensive that is your music and you need to be held accountable for the music then. Because you own that music you get negative and positive feedback. but this could also be applied in other scenarios one of them being maybe an industry or a business that you own, and your company makes a mistake, for example, working on a house and something went wrong you take ownership of it and go and fix it.

When I bring up this perspective of owning itself is to take full responsibility whether it is positive or negative response to an action or anything for example an electrician does an amazing job he claims the money and satisfaction of the customer but on the other hand, this could be another reaction where something was broke or did not work he should own himself and his work and take the responsibility of his actions and correct it. With doing this helps the philosophical aspect of owning yourself this develops the character of a person changing who they are by whether they choose to own something or not. This will help with a self-conscious identity. In my experience, I feel better correcting my work and taking ownership of my work then denying ownership that would not be my own self.

According to Aristotle ownership of tangible goods helps develop moral character but the newer theories say this extends into intangible goods i believe they're talking about beliefs from morals to ideologies and even religion, the idea that this changes our moral self makes a lot more sense when you bring the concept of intangible things because people's beliefs can shape who they are. Therefore this makes a person who they are and owning yourself is something that makes perfectbly good sense if you listen.
