A Very Dumb Question at the Wrong Time

About 4 years ago during summer me and my friends were playing a game on xbox, The game was called Overwatch. Overwatch is a game were you have a bunch of characters you can play their called heros and you have to pick a role. There are different classes you can choose from there are 3 of them tank, healer, and damage dealer. Its a 5v5 game there’s a damage dealer there’s two of those two healers and one tank, they work together to capture a point or move a payload to a drop off area. I play the hero called Reinhardt, hes a tank who can put up a shield to protect his team mates. He can also throw a fireball with his hammer he has, he also has an ultimate were he hits the ground and put everyone on the ground. My friend Donovan plays a damage dealer called Reaper he has 2 shot guns and his ability allows him to not take damage and his ultimate makes him spin in a circle doing a lot of damage. because we were playing this game we were both already in an aggravated mood because the game is very competitive.

I had asked my friend donovan how to spell “why”, it was a daring question to ask a best friend. Me asking this question probably set him off a little bit. While we were playing this game I was messaging someone something and my brain just shut off while thinking about how to spell a word, it was a very easy word to spell but It just wasn’t coming to mind for some reason. I had asked my friend donovan how to spell the word “why”. My brain just wasn’t working when I had asked him how to spell it and he was like are you serious right now and I was like ahhh yes? My friend Donovan made fun of me for it for a couple months after I had asked him about spelling why. He had called me dumb because I asked him and then it clicked in my head and I said yea im stupid and then we both laughed about it. We had both talked about it and he asked me if I was serious and I was like yes I was I had already told you I was serious about asking how to spell “why”. I had just asked him a question and he thought I was the dumbest person alive and I do have to admit it was a really dumb question. There has been many arguments were they use that question against me, I sometimes even now get bullied for it from my best friends.

I’m sure many people have asked very similar questions to the one I had asked my friend Donovan about, im also sure many people don’t keep using the same thing over and over again as a come back though either. In the end I have learned to not ask your friends how to spell things because they wont let it go and they’ll make fun of you for it for the longest time, it doesn’t matter how many times you bring up a good argument to something they’ll just throw that one thing in your face and they wont ever make you forget it.
