Palms and Pucks

nlebrasseur24 is a funny guy, he loves to make jokes in class. whenever nlebrasseur24 does show up to school it is always a good time. He loves apple products, whenever we are in JMG nlebrasseur24 would always talk with another fellow dhall24 about the upcoming apple events or products. whenever nlebrasseur24 finds something he enjoys he is envious of it and shows passion towards the things he enjoys. He also is a hockey player, he is always traveling and playing hockey.

nlebrasseur24’s personal avatar was something he had a long time to think about which is why it is so detailed with everything symbolizing something within his life. The avatar consists of multiple items the first being the background, it is a very large palm tree in the center of the avatar. This is because nlebrasseur24 told me “I love vacations” when he was explaining his avatar to me. The second item is dual hockey sticks in the center of the avatar forming an x over the palm tree. This is because nlebrasseur24 is a huge hockey player “oh I lovee hockey” said nlebrasseur24 when I asked him what the sticks represented. the third and final item is the number 5 in the upper right hand of the avatar. this is nlebrasseur24’s jersey number further showing he loves hockey.

The part of the avatar that grabs my attention is the palm tree. I never expected to hear nlebrasseur24 tell me that he likes the beach because I’ve never heard him talk about the beach or anything outside of hockey. This proves that I have learned something during this assignment that I probably wouldn’t have without. Which is why the palm tree grabs my attention. It’s a reminder that everyone has certain things that they enjoy but you may not know.

nlebrasseur24 and I both discussed how we created our avatars. our creation process was very similar in the sense that nlebrasseur24 said “it was easy I just drew what I loved” We had both drew a one-and-done avatar because we both knew what we loved and why we wanted to draw it. nlebrasseur24’s process was to pick 3 items and put them appropriately within the avatar, and mine was to pick a place and item and put it within the avatar. so overall I say we had very similar processes and thoughts about how to attack the task of creating a personal avatar.
