Why You Like Photography

My partner’s CWhitakes24 avatar consists of a yellow background, with a blue circle. Inside the blue circle, two bones are crossed with a spatula that overlaps the bones. On top overlapping the others is a paintbrush. The main object that stood out to me was the paintbrush, it stood out like it had more importance than the other objects. The second thing that stood out was the crossed bones.  

My partner’s reason for using the objects that he did, I asked why he used the bones he said “ It was very impactful to my life as I have broken four bones, have had 3 sprains, also have had one concussion, and have also cut 3 of my tendons” (CWhitakes24).   I also agree with that if you have had that many injuries I would try to include something to show how much I had injured myself.  When I asked about why he had included the spatula he said, “ I like to cook I have been cooking in a kitchen for 3 years, and I first started working in a kitchen because it was a local job and I needed money”(CWhitakes24). I can’t connect to cooking because I do not like to but I found it cool that he likes to cook. 

When I asked why he had used a paintbrush. He said, “ I like to draw and paint, Also that I attend the multi-media program in Lrtc” (CWhitakes24).  I can relate to that as I also like to draw but I am not never good at drawing so I did not include anything for that in my avatar. I Did attend an LRTC program, I attend the Automotive Tech program. I did include a wrench in my avatar to symbolize that I like to work on cars and how much I liked the LRTC program. 

 The similarities between CWhitakes24’s avatar and mine are we both used a blue circle as part of our designs. Both of where symbolize our favorite colors.  We both used an object to represent LRTC programs, he used the paintbrush to represent Multimedia and I used the wrench to represent Automotive. Something that is different but can relate to each other is the fact that he used bones to represent injuries where as I didn’t.  But I did use an axe to represent the fact that I volunteer in a fire department where we respond to calls where people get injuries that need medical treatment.
