Contagious Laughing

My best friend Alyssa and I one night were on the phone together just talking about a bunch of different things about our life and what was going on like we do every night before bed. When we were younger we would do this everyday at school in the mornings but she moved to a different school than I so when we started talking again we started the runtine back up again.It has become our thing to do a nightly check in with each other to see how we are doing and to just rant. One night in preticular it was around 1 a.m when this happened but we were both scrolling through tiktok and I came across a really funny tiktok and I had sent it to her and she said, “I should recreate this!” and I said “Right now??” and then decided to recreate the tiktok which was a guy doing a funny dance. talking about it made us die laughing even talking about her recreating it and getting set up for it.

For an hour we could not stop laughing about it because of how stupid it was and watching her recreate it was 100 times better. The tiktok was a guy doing a funny dance and watching her in real time including setting up,changing clothes etc was so funny. Both her and I got yelled at by our parent’s for being to loud. Oopsies!! We didn’t fully care much though because we were having a fun time and laughing at each other. I would do what she did to mock her which made us laugh even more and we just kept going back and fourth with it.

This lasted about an hour, yes an hour of this and by the time we has settled down we still were giggling about it randomly and we both knew why which made us burst out in laughter again. This whole night was just a funny night in general honestly.

We finally decided to go to bed around 2:30 3:00 a.m and I slept in that morning becuase of how late we stayed up. I still often think about this night because of how funny it really is and it has become a running joke between her and I. This is only one of the many funny story’s of our facetimes but this is one of the most memorible ones we have. Her and I have so many good memories of us just laughing about something stupid but to us so funny. Often our own laughs makes each other giggle.

Anytime I am upset I always know to call her because she always knows how to get me to start dying laughing including that night. Alyssa has always been one of my best friends and someone who has always stuck around no matter what was going on or how busy we got. She understands me and I understand her and laughing is our way of coping with everything good or bad that is happening in our life. All and all this night was one of our most talked about nights still to this day and this was around a year ago when this happened.
