A Frightful Night of Cheer

One of the memories i hold most dear to me, was a party my friend had thrown for halloween, it wasn’t overly big, just a small group of friends. we had all (mosly) worn costumes as well, the friend who had hosted i; Caelan, was a vampire, Micheal a shirtless lumberjack (dumb idea it was freezing that night) Apollo was a clown, as well as me, but mine was a bit different from the regular, Odessa had not worn a costume, and Camryn had worn a bloodied dress.

I had gotten to see Caelan’s costume in school before we went there, since I had almost my entire day with them, throughout the day, they would bite me at random playing into the role of the vampire, and we kept laughing about that most of the day, and other similar jokes. We spent a lot of the day just messing around and towards the end of the day when we were heading to her house. I was the first there, since I went home with them. She and I had hung out until, later around 4 or 5pm, people began to show up, besides Camryn. We spent our time handing candy out to people, and we played games, it was mainly Just Dance, which we laughed about when people would do something that looked a bit funny, or mess up the dance horrendously. We had also played some games outside, like hide & seek, tag/manhunt, and we, attempted cop and robbers, but it got too cold by then to stay outside. I had won every game we played, due to most of my outfit being pitch black, and my face was painted black & white as well. when we went inside again, we ate some food that her parents had ordered.

When Camryn arrived we decided it’d be a fun idea to scare her, so we hid around the house except for Caelan, and she told her that everyone left, and every once in a while, we would do something, to create an “eery atmosphere”. One by one over the next half hour or so, we were doing things to scare her. Until she ended up locking herself into the bathroom, which is when we stopped, (after I had knocked and scratched on the window from the outside a bit) most of us couldn’t stop laughing at her expense. She was a bit upset, but she thought it was funny as well, and told us to work as scare actors. Afterward though being the first to get there, I was also the last to leave at the end of the night.
