I can’t recall many times when I’ve helped a friend out or been helped myself, most of the time it’s either insignificant or something I’d simply rather not talk about, maybe I’m a bad friend, but whatever. But, I can remember at least one time where I’ve helped out a friend in need. I have a friend with a fairly weak immune system, so, whenever they were sick, I used to have packets of powder that you pour into water (it’s kinda like Kool-Aid powder), it’s packed with vitamins meant to boost one’s immune system, effectively making them not sick anymore. So, when they were sick, I’d give them a couple packets to help them recover faster. That’s basically it, I can’t add much more without stretching it out, as nice as that would be for me (even though I’m subtly stretching things out, even here). Whenever they were sick, I’d give them packets of powder filled with vitamins that’d make them feel better, that’s about it. But, just because I don’t help my buddies incredibly often, doesn’t mean they don’t assist me just as infrequently. So, moving on from my friend’s poor immune system, let’s head over to goofy, stupid drawings.
It’s even harder to think of a time when a friend helped me, not because my friends are bad people, but most things I can figure out on my own or just give up on. But, as minor as it is, my friends helped me out recently with helping me realizing something small, but also very important, my artwork. I turned on my Surface 3 computer for the first time this year and decided to do some stupid drawings, my friend’s help me come up with gorgeous drawings such as Hank Hill from King of The Hill as a hill, my friend Jacob with a guitar for a body, Elon Musk riding a rocket to a giant Mars Bar, Thom Yorke, the lead singer of Radiohead, as a giant microphone, Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. eating Boo, along with several others. It was a lot of fun and their suggestions helped spur some ‘wonderful’ drawings in my mind.
