The green banner represents hope, religion, and agriculture. The hammer represents the workers and their struggle throughout history, when they should have been appreciated. It’s colored red to symbolize revolution and the blood spilled by those who fought for what they deemed right. The two x’s represents my year of graduation in Roman Numeral. They are colored white to symbolize the innocence and truth of a good education, in other words the education I have been given here. The workers struggle has always been important to me because they have made or produced the things we need on a day to day basis which everyone should be grateful for. Since the hammer is a singular object, I made it a large size and put it in the center so most of the banner would not be so bland. I did the x’s this way for the same reason. I placed the hammer above the x’s tho to represent putting social issues before personal ones. This is because the x’s have more to do with me specifically.
