Commencement Address

Hello, my name is Brianna. As we are nearing the end of our high school career and getting ready to walk across the stage on graduation night, it is important that we look back at all the stressful years with gratitude. Throughout all these four years we have spent together, we have all overcome many obstacles that we had to face. There were many accomplishments made and many tough decisions made as well. Many relationships have been formed and many have been broken. Although there have been some broken relationships, each and every one of them still helped all of us in the end. Everything that we have been through as a class, such as Covid, has shaped us into the people we are now. Most of us have known each other since we were all very young, we grew up together and learned from each other. There were many mistakes that were made while growing up, but those mistakes helped us reach where we are now. We are getting ready to graduate high school in less than two weeks and move onto the next chapter of our lives. Many of us are probably thinking “finally, we get to graduate”, but in reality, these past four years have flown by. Many of us will not see each other after we graduate, but we will always remember the people we grew up with. So, my advice to you is not to take things for granted. I know I took these four years of high school for granted and I am sure many of you did too. I am happy, but sad to say that we will be ending our high school careers in just a short amount of time. Congratulations to everyone for making it this far!
