I have many stories about laughter, especially from my childhood. One I can clearly remember is when I and my best friend Lahlberg23 were walking home and she was playing with a piece of tar. At first, I thought nothing of it because usually, she played with things throwing them up and catching them suddenly I hear “LOOK OUT” and then *THUD* a chunk of tar hit me straight in the head. Laughter was all that came out of this, we could not stop, and still to this day we still laugh about it just like we did that day. Lahlberg23 and I have always had a relationship like this, laughter is the main part of it. Any time we argue or disagree we always end up laughing and getting over it. Whenever we are together everyone knows we are going to be laughing, no matter what we are laughing. It could be the most serious
situation and somehow we are going to laugh. Another thing we laugh constantly about is The Office, we have both been watching it since 7th grade and will correlate back to it. This makes so many people confused because only we really know what we are talking about or thinking about, it causes us to laugh in so many situations. I can always count on her to make me laugh even if it is just looking at each other, there has never been a time we were together and didn’t laugh.
I think laughter is such an important part of friendships and keeping a healthy relationship with anyone. Many of my own friendships are filled with laughter and making jokes, whenever something serious happens we always laugh it off and move on with our day. I’ve never been a serious person, even when I was younger I used to laugh about everything, life is too short to take everything so seriously. Laugh about the stupid things you did today or the way someone had an attitude with you, let yourself be happy because, at the end of the day, you can’t change what’s going to happen or did happen so just laugh about it.
