Past Mistakes, Future Lessons

Mistakes are formed so people can learn how to fix any future mistakes similar. In the past, I made a bad mistake that soured relations between myself and my family. Large mistakes are harder to fix and require everyone involved at fault to amend the situation equal to how bad the mistake was. When a person makes a mistake, the best way to rectify the situation is to give yourself a restriction to prevent any more similar occurrences.

In my family, my brother and I fight, causing many mistakes as the fight has no direction. For example, during a conversation with my brother and I, he would provoke me by saying “Bet mom’s cooking is better” and I would retaliate by saying “well if it’s so bad why do you keep coming back.” These small arguments happened often, one happened right before a big fight which went from my brother saying “why won’t you take me to my friend’s house?” where I said ” for the last time you disrespect everyone in the house and act like a spoiled princess in a tower, you are not getting anymore favors from me” This fight would not have happened if I could control my temper properly. We slightly smashed in one mirror opposite side of the sink and shards were everywhere on the floor. After a small length of time, both parties had spots of blood, bruises, and cuts all over the floor and the body. The fight had ended with me winning and the prize was being isolated in my room reflecting on my actions that happen, while my brother was the second place winner with the reward of all the chores of the house. The spray bottle is the most effective method to use as an alternative for fighting against siblings, especially when fart spray has been added.

Mistakes are made so that people can learn from them and make a better life for the future. When making mistakes, it is essential to take action to prevent any similar mistakes in the future. Not every mistake has a lesson that can be learned. That may be true, but the lesson learned here is violence should never be an answer, instead using something like my spray bottle tactic is a good alternative. The next time personal mistakes are made take that mistake and create a good alternative.
