Laughter is a wonderful disease that is very contagious that reaches everyone at some point. This can pertain to a simple smile walking by a stranger on the street and likely they will smile back. This is due to one of us laughing at something as simple and out of order. When backed up waiting for the day to pass it is always fun to enjoy it with some friends. Adam who is 6’2” with a fortunate taste for music and Reese with his stupidity and odd humor makes a perfect beach trip. My friends provide happiness and past shared events that constantly bring us closer. When the peak of the day comes with the blazing sun on our skins on a perfect beach day. It was a Saturday. This perfect trip was planned all week, although we booked a hotel last minute. Adam who did most of the planning with help from my brother, organized the entire trip, while Reese had the idea in the first place. These are my best friends that bring happiness and laughter from their presents. This is meaningful to me to have these friends I am so grateful for. Fortunately, I jumped in and joined them.
First, we stepped out of our vehicles after the long drive. We could already feel the satisfying ocean breeze. Next, I remember it as so pure and fresh, already pulling in smiles and positivity. It was like laying down on my bed after a long business trip. The walk to the beach was still far away, the breeze becoming stronger. We finally made it to the beach which seemed like a very fast walk despite how far it was. Laughter plays a role by turning a slow boring walk into fun memories to be shared with friends. Reese is very clumsy and he is always falling. We played football on the beach and he had to have eaten at least 3 pounds of sand. Next thing we know we are stepping onto the beach. This brought back many memories from last year’s journeys to the beach, which was great fun. this brought smiles to all our faces like a contagious plague of laughter, setting off much-needed positivity to make my sunburns from that day worth the trip. Maybe we will go again next week for more laughter, fun, and friends. Laughter is contagious.
From the beach to my house, laughter comes from the simple events in life that bring people together. Before I would never learn to enjoy simple laughs, but eventually, I learned to appreciate the ability to share a laugh and developed the attitude to enjoy the small moments. The importance of laughter causes happiness to provide for a successful and happy life. I would learn to continue to hold on to these pure moments as memories to last a lifetime. This is meaningful to us as we support each other and have developed strong relationships. Following this, I have learned to enjoy these moments more and realized how important it is for a healthy friendship. Next time you get together with friends remember the small things, and never forget to stop by the beach.
