Monster

Shockley’s avatar is one expressing who he is and what he likes to do. It looks like an angry mad avatar but it really with all of the meanings is a calm, well thought out avatar about his life and who he is as a person. Shockly really spent his time designing and thinking through what this avatar means to him with all of the hidden details that I will share with you. From every aspect of this avatar there is a meaning to Shockley’s life.

 I compare how we both have hobbies right out front in the middle and how we both used colors to represent the things that we enjoy/value. I contrast how we both didn’t have sports, only I did and this isn’t because he doesn’t like sports, it’s just not what represents him, also the colors on my avatar were different showing that I am energetic and not all calm. Lastly the lines through the middle of mine have a meaning for the different sports I play and the seasons that I enjoy the most.

Let’s start with the purple at the top that represents a color he uses for respect that he has or gives. Shockly said “ Purple isn’t my favorite color, but what it represents, which is trust, is the reason why it’s on my avatar”.  The next is the music note within the eyes this represents how much he loves music he doesn’t just like one genre he enjoys them all no matter the genre, then the lightning represents how much he like monster energy he says that “He cannot live a day without drinking a monster energy”, also the

chain represents how he has trust for people and that is a big value for him if you don’t give him the trust he wants he will not like you as a person, the water represents how he like a calm nice lake it makes him happy which also calms him down and takes his mind off of everything that is going on. The part of his avatar that grabs my attention is the lightning. It really shows what he likes and how much he likes it as it is bigger than some of the other things on his avatar, showing the love he has for his monster energy drinks.

The use of the music note and the lightning really make it pop out and it looks really good, you can easily tell what my partner is showing here besides maybe the chain but as you look closer into it you can understand everything that the picture represents. Shockley said “ The reason for the music is not for any specific genre just because I love music” Shockley did a great job with the music note with it being in the eyes clearly showing that he loves music, and it didn’t change any way the face was meaning he didn’t put the music note outside of the face but inside of it for hidden meanings, and for it to be less but explain more like an avatar does.
