Text or call?

As the young develop into adults and the already adults adapt to the fastly developing technology around us we all text and call on the regular. Texting and calling has become a major part of all of our lives and is a questionable part of it. Some of us seem to think that calling is the best option we have to talk on a more professional level, while at the same time it can be a personal and better option for those around us to call. While texting is very convenient and a faster way to communicate over small things it can be misinterpreted very badly to many for larger conversations. When you text it is very hard to put emotions and how you may sound in person into a text, While a call you can hear the tone and emotion in their voice. Due to the emotionless background of texts it almost causes more issues rather than a phone call, a phone call can at least be emotional in every way just because of tone of voice. A phone call is also a more professional and almost adult conversation, phone calls are the preferable method to call a workplace, a doctor’s office, a colleague, and every other adult or professional activity just due the emotions expressed behind it. It is also a professional way of communication and feels more like a human connection rather than texts which are almost foreign to the feeling of talking to someone.

Now texts aren’t all bad they are a very large part of our lives and can make a conversation quick and easy and is less disruptive to the world around us. While a phone call is emotional and connected, It is also out loud for anyone to hear, and is disrupting to those around you. While the younger generation gets jobs, or even those still in school it is very rude and almost impossible to have a phone call due to the environment around you, this is where texts come into play and are very handy. When you don’t want to disrupt someone or they cant call a simple text can make it better overall since you can send a text for whatever purpose you need.

Phone calls and texting are how this world is connected and is developing into the way of the world. While a phone call is very professional, and emotion and tone-driven texts are convenient and are as useful as calls in many situations.
