Call or Text?

Many people call and text all day long. Some prefer to call rather then text because it is easier to have a long talk and some prefer to text rather then call because it can be way more simple. I believe that texting is more common but the age of the person decides whether they text or call. There are so many disadvantages and advantages to texting rather then calling. A text is easier to send and can be simple just to type out a message, but a call can get ahold of someone way quicker which is helpful.

I personally believe that a text is much easier then a call even though it will take longer to get an answer. Many younger people prefer to text more then call because it is more simple. I think older people prefer to call because maybe it’s a little less complicated. If I was in class and had to talk to someone I wouldn’t be able to call them and a text would be way easier. If I decide to text someone I can keep my conversation private incase there are people around too listen. Keeping conversations private can definitely be important because you could be saying something important only they can know or they could be telling you something important. Whenever I need to talk to a friend I text them because they could be somewhere where they can’t answer a call and it’s easier for both of us. I don’t ever call anyone besides maybe my mom and dad just because it’s easier to text.

How might calling and texting on the phone change over the next few years? I don’t think it will change too much but it will definitely change. I think it will become more advanced with new options and different ways to communicate through the phone. As I get older I will probably Change the way I want to talk to other on the phone. I think that I might prefer calling to texting because that’s what my parents do. With both having advantages and disadvantages I think In my opinion calling is just as good as texting but there is a time for calling and there is a time for texting. I think maybe they call more because they grew up calling each other and their friends. I see myself only wanting to call people when im past the age of 70. my grandfather has a flip phone and hates to text. As I get older the technology get newer so I think that I would fall out of touch with what’s new and wouldn’t adapt much to new technology.
