"He liked Maycomb. He was Maycomb County born and raised; he knew his people, they knew him and because of Simon’s Finch industry, Atticus was related to by blood or by marriage to nearly every family in town. Maycomb was an old town but it was a tired old town when I first knew it ..." (lee,5) If Atticus is nearly related to most of the town then I think it's the type of small-town to be a bit too noisy and gets into each other’s business too much especially when it comes to politics for some reason I feel like that's going to backfire at some point in the book and Atticus is gonna get sick of it real fast.

¨ẗhe radleys were welcome anywhere in town¨(lee pg 10) this to me means the radleys have a lot of power or have done something so the people respect them i think this could mean they could do something again or end up efecting scout and her family later on in the story.
